Valdemar Tomasevskis says that the old version of the Law on National Minorities will be put back into effect by March

Chair of the Electoral Action of Poles in Lithuania said that until the new version is confirmed it is the ruling coalition's political council's decision to reinstate the old version of the Law on National Minorities from 1991 as soon as possible, noting that the adoption of the Law on National Minorities was part of the government's platform. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevicius said that the government's Vice-Chancellor Remigijus Motuzas was assigned the task of clarifying the situation with this law.
