The Economics Committee of the Lithuanian Parliament has requested the Government to clarify the context of the bankruptcy of the country's airline flyLAL-Lithuanian Airlines

In the opinion of Chair of the Economics Committee of the Lithuanian Parliament Remigijus Zemaitaitis it is necessary to further examine if public institutions did everything they could from 2007 to 2010 to change, and if there were no officials – either airport or air navigation – at fault, for the fate of flyLAL. In addition, the head of the committee said that now there is every chance for flyLAL to recover and become an airBaltic shareholder, and so to get back about 150 million LTL in losses.
