Minister of Environment Valentinas Mazuronis has decided to make Lithuania the most attractive Baltic state to investors

To achieve this, the Minister of Environment has set to reduce the accumulated bureaucracy in the areas of territorial planning, construction, maintenance and operation, but “not to jeopardize safety requirements”. A step forward in this area, according to Mr.

Mazuronis, has already been made after a new version of the Territorial Planning Law, which essentially repealed the need to develop detailed plans, was adopted. Now, strategists are looking for solutions to problems related to infrastructure – various communications networks, and others.

Changes in laws regulating construction, construction supervision and usage of constructed facilities are also being prepared.
