President Dalia Grybauskait ė stated that not at all law enforcement officers in the country are bad and that there are some good examples. However, she went on to say that, unfortunately, the overall good work could be spoiled by individual cases of unprofessionalism when those responsible for serious problems, which cost the state a lot, cannot be identified and brought to justice.

She continued that is not for no reason that the people do not trust law enforcement, which seems to care only about the letter of the law and not the spirit of the law. The president defined it as a systemic problem, and a general question of the law enforcement system.

In Lithuania, she said, Lady Justice is blind, as she should be, but it should not be dim-witted.
