Diana Korsakaitė clarifies natural gas prices

In the opinion of the chair of Lithuania's Prices and Energy Control Commission, the decision to approve a higher price of natural gas for end users was made ostensibly to avoid an unfavorable precedent. According to Ms. Korsakaitė, if the commission had approved artificially reduced natural gas prices, they would have allowed monopolists greater leeway for manipulation.
