Daiva Ulbinaitė has been given an award and chief national security adviser Jonas Markevičius has left the president's team

Jonas Markevičius, who lied to the anti-corruption commission during the investigation of the details of the Snoras bankruptcy case leaks, has left his job under his own volition according to presidential advisor Skaistė Plaušinytė and has returned to his job at Second Investigation Department under the Ministry of National Defence. Meanwhile, President Dalia Grybauskaitė has presented Daiva Ulbinaitė, who became well known during the scandal of the leaked Security Department memo, an award for personal contribution to helping the Lithuanian Presidency of the EU Council.

The president does not intend to testify in the investigation on the leaked memo.
