Brussels thinks that Lithuania is correctly managing the situation with African swine fever in the country

In a statement by the European Commission and the EU Member States, they recognized that all of the measures Lithuania is taking to combat African swine fever are adequate, efficient, on time and can provide effective control of the of infection. Meanwhile, the Minister of Environment Valentinas Mazuronis has said that if the infection is not controlled, absolutely all boars and pigs will have to be destroyed everywhere in Lithuania.
