The book Litua by the famous soviet dissident, signer of the Lithuanian Independence Act, member of parliament, and culturologist Algirdas Vaclavas Patackas, which consists of the most important of his works printed by the underground press during the Soviet era up to recent writings, has been introduced to Vilnius.

Mr. Patackas is respected in Lithuania as one of those rare historical figures whose ideas on life, words and action overlap, even when the courage to witness to the truth meant he fell victim to the Soviet repression and persecution structure of KGB surveillance and was imprisoned in the Vilnius KGB prison in the cellars.

Mr. Patackas remains an uncompromising revealer of truth in independent Lithuania. He expressed support for people calling for the full investigation of the Kaunas murders and pedophilia story, which has been hampered by justice system structures.
